 Mike Mattheiss loves to generate visuals with a stoic playfulness steeped in warm nostalgia with just a pinch of quirkiness. Mike Mattheiss received a BFA in graphic design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has been a professional graphic designer for more than 20 years - shifting his focus toward illustration over the past decade. Along with his love of history and back-roads traveling, he is inspired by original Americana such as pulp-fiction covers, classic comics, and vintage travel posters. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife and 2 dogs.
